What does LEED stand for? Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design
Why are so many companies on the LEED certification bandwagon?
Because it’s time to be a leader. When you join those who pursue certification for your building under the auspices of Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, you are joining a growing movement of owners who care about their employees and about the environment in which we all live and work.
Capital Review Group has on board a LEED Accredited Professional who knows what it takes for a building to meet LEED standards, as well as qualify for Federal tax deductions for efficiencies.
CRG will (1) participate with you, your architect and contractor to design a LEED building that meets the Federal requirements, or (2) conduct a review of your current building, to see how green it is, or how it may be improved to achieve LEED certification and Federal incentives.
Achieving LEED certification at any level, of course, will make you feel better about the health of your employees and stewardship of our environment. More important for you as a business owner is that implementing green measures is good for the bottom line. For new buildings, it is estimated that an up-front extra investment of 2% will yield over ten times that amount over the life cycle of the building.*
It is also possible that taking measures to achieve LEED certification for your building may coincidentally qualify it for some Federal tax incentives. CRG’s LEED AP can assist you in planning and bringing about these potential results.
